Technical features and scope of the DIN 2848 standard
The DIN 2848 standard regulates strict technical requirements for the production and supply of flanged pipes and connecting elements (fittings) made of structural steel or cast iron alloys. A key feature of products compliant with this standard is the presence of an anti-corrosion lining made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), which ensures high chemical resistance when working with aggressive media.
