Technical purpose of washers according to the DIN 6916 standard
Round washers regulated by this standard are designed to ensure the reliability of high-load bolted connections of the GV and SL types. According to the design standards for steel structures DIN 18 800 (part 1), these fasteners are used in conjunction with high-strength bolts of the DIN 6914 standard and corresponding hexagonal nuts DIN 6915.
