Threaded flanges DIN 2567: characteristics and PN 25–40 pressure specifications

Technical characteristics and purpose of DIN 2567 flanges

The DIN 2567 standard regulates the production of threaded flanges with a hub, adapted for operation in piping systems with nominal pressures of PN 25 and PN 40. The product range covers nominal diameters (DN) from DN 6 to DN 150. These components are widely used in industrial pipelines where a reliable detachable connection using pipe threads is required.

The technical documentation of the standard defines geometric parameters, tolerances, requirements for the quality of sealing surfaces, and calculated mass indicators. Manufacturing processes, testing regulations, and marking rules are carried out in accordance with DIN 2519 requirements, and the choice of sealing geometry is based on DIN 2526 specifications.

Manufacturing materials

EV Group China supplies DIN 2567 flanges made of high-quality steel grades, ensuring stable performance in various operating environments:

  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steels (austenitic grades).
  • Structural carbon steels.
  • Alloy steels with improved thermal stability indicators.

Please note: the DIN 2567 standard is archived. In modern engineering practice, it is recommended to use the current standard DIN EN 1092-1 (type 13B) for the selection and design of pipelines, which completely replaces the specified regulation in the EV Group China production program.
