Threaded flanges DIN 2565: technical description and operational standards

Technical specifications and application of DIN 2565 flanges

The DIN 2565 standard regulates the geometry and technical parameters of threaded flanges with a neck, designed for operation at a nominal pressure of PN 6 (6 kgf/cm²). This type of connecting element is intended for installation in pipeline systems with a nominal diameter ranging from DN 6 to DN 150.

EV Group China ensures strict adherence to geometric tolerances, contact surface parameters, and weight characteristics established by the specification. The supply and marking of products are carried out in accordance with the requirements of DIN 2519, and the selection of sealing surfaces is based on current DIN 2526 standards.

Manufacturing materials

  • Carbon steels with high ductility and strength indicators.
  • Alloy steels adapted to increased operational loads.
  • Corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel grades for aggressive environments.

Important note: The DIN 2565 standard is officially recognized as obsolete. In modern engineering practice, EV Group China recommends using products complying with the current DIN EN 1092-1 standard (type 13B), which fully replaces the functionality of previous versions.
