Technical specifications and scope of application for pipes according to ASTM A519 / ASME SA 519
The ASTM A519 / A519M specification (equivalent to ASME SA 519) establishes strict technical requirements for the production of seamless mechanical tubing made from carbon and alloy steel grades. Specialists at EV Group China note that this standard covers a wide range of products intended for the manufacture of critical machine and mechanism components, where dimensional accuracy and chemical composition stability are crucial.
Welding procedures, when joining these pipes, must strictly comply with the selected steel grade, the condition of the components, and the conditions of future operation. EV Group China provides supplies that fully meet the standard’s requirements, including:

- Products with an outside diameter of up to 325 mm and more, with wall thickness determined by the customer’s design documentation.

In accordance with international standardization rules, technical parameters are provided in both SI units and inch-pound units. The measurement systems are independent: mixing data from different standards is not permitted. If the ‘M’ designation is not specified in the order, inch-pound units are applied by default.
