Technical purpose and field of application for ISO 14579 screws
This international standard specifies the design requirements and geometric parameters for cheese head screws with an internal star-shaped recess (TORX type). The standard applies to fasteners with metric threads in the nominal diameter range from M2 to M20 inclusive, corresponding to product grade A.
