Technical aspects of the EN 10130 standard
This regulatory document specifies the technical delivery conditions for cold-rolled flat products made of low-carbon steel grades intended for complex cold forming. The products are supplied without protective coatings. The product parameters cover a width starting from 600 mm and a thickness ranging from 0.35 mm to 3.0 mm inclusive. EV Group China provides supplies of this metal product in the form of sheet blanks, full-size coils, and cut-to-length strips according to customer specifications.
It should be noted that the scope of EN 10130 does not apply to cold-rolled narrow strips (less than 600 mm wide), nor to specialized types of flat products for which separate industry standards are provided:
- Non-oriented electrical steel (magnetic properties) according to EN 10106.
- Semi-processed steel strip used in the production of magnetic cores (EN 10126 and EN 10165).
- Cold-rolled flat products in coils according to EN 10205.
- High-yield strength cold-rolled flat products for cold forming (EN 10268).
- Cold-rolled uncoated narrow strip of low carbon steel (EN 10139).
- Low-carbon steel flat products specifically for vitreous enameling (EN 10209).
