Specification and Purpose of ASTM B43 Seamless Pipes
This technical documentation regulates the requirements for the production and operation of seamless red brass (tombac) pipes of the UNS C23000 grade, produced in NPS dimensional standards (standard and extra-strong series). Depending on the material condition, the pipes find the following applications:
- Condition O61 (annealed): An optimal solution for water supply systems, heat exchange equipment, and boiler feed pipelines where high corrosion resistance and ductility are required.
