EN 754 Technical Regulation: Cold-Drawn Aluminum Products from EV Group China

EN 754-1 Standard: Technical conditions for the delivery of cold-drawn products

This EV Group China regulation establishes requirements for the supply of general-purpose aluminum alloy bars and cold-drawn tubes. The standard does not cover forging stock (EN 603), nor does it apply to products in coils or coiled tubes supplied under the EN 13958 standard.

EN 754-2 Standard: Mechanical properties

This part of the standard defines the normative mechanical property indicators for cold-drawn aluminum rolled products (bars and tubes) used in various mechanical engineering sectors.

EN 754-3 Standard: Tolerances for round bars

This standard regulates the limit deviations of geometric parameters and shape for cold-drawn round bars and tubes. It applies to products with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 100 mm.

EN 754-4 Standard: Tolerances for square profiles

This standard establishes tolerances for dimensions and shape symmetry for cold-drawn square bars. The width range for products according to this standard is from 3 mm to 100 mm.

EN 754-5 Standard: Tolerances for rectangular bars

This standard defines requirements for the dimensional accuracy of rectangular aluminum alloy bars. It covers products with thicknesses from 2 to 60 mm and widths from 5 to 200 mm.

EN 754-6 Standard: Tolerances for hexagonal profiles

This standard details technical requirements for the manufacturing accuracy of cold-drawn hexagonal bars. It regulates rolled products with a width across flats from 3 mm to 80 mm.

EN 754-7 Standard: Seamless tubes

This standard regulates dimension and geometry tolerances for seamless tubes produced by cold deformation. The parameters cover round tubes with an outer diameter from 3 to 350 mm and shaped tubes with an inscribed circle diameter from 8 to 300 mm. The standard does not apply to products regulated by EN 754-8, nor to products in coils (EN 13958). The current edition, EN 754-7:2008, fully replaces the 1997 version.
