Technical specifications and scope of ASTM B814
The ASTM B814 specification defines strict requirements for nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum-tungsten alloy grade UNS N06920, supplied in flat product formats: plate, sheet, and strip. The material is intended for use in engineering structures operating in moderately aggressive corrosive environments.
EV Group China provides products that meet the following technological parameters:
- Sheet and strip, hot or cold rolled, subjected to mandatory solution annealing and mechanical descaling.
- Plate, hot worked, solution annealed, and descaled.
Technical values in the standard are provided in inch-pound units as the primary measurement. SI units, indicated in parentheses, are provided for informational purposes only.
Safety requirements for handling finished components made from UNS N06920 alloy are not addressed by this standard. Operational risks and safety precautions should be determined based on the current Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) provided by the manufacturer.
