The range of nominal diameters covers values from DN 10 to DN 400. This type of connecting fitting is widely used in the installation of piping systems, pressure vessels, and in the connection units of pumping and tank equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Structurally, the flange is a disc with holes for fasteners (bolts or studs) and a conical transition element (neck) that ensures smooth distribution of mechanical stresses in the weld zone.
