This shape minimizes stress concentration in the joint area, making the component optimal for operation under pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Technical documentation defines not only the size grid but also requirements for the quality of contact surfaces, material selection, and mass calculation methodology. Production and marking processes are based on the provisions of DIN 2519, and requirements for sealing surfaces comply with DIN 2526.<\/p>\n<h3>Manufacturing materials<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Stainless steels (austenitic and ferritic grades).<\/li>\n<li>Standard quality carbon steels.<\/li>\n<li>Alloyed structural steels.<\/li>\n<li>Heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Flanges made of C22 steel, produced in accordance with this standard, maintain nominal pressure ratings at operating medium temperatures up to 120\u00b0C.
