This nomenclature covers a range of nominal diameters from DN 10 to DN 200.<\/p>\n<p>Structurally, the product acts as a connecting element for pipeline systems, pressure vessels, and pumping and compressor equipment. The flange consists of a disc with holes for fasteners and a tapered neck (hub), which ensures a smooth cross-sectional transition and high strength of the weld seam during butt welding.<\/p>\n<p>The technical documentation of the standard regulates the product geometry, physical and mechanical properties of materials, requirements for sealing surface finishing, and weight and dimensional indicators.
