Products manufactured by EV Group China in accordance with this standard fully comply with the dimensional series ASME B16.5, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.10, ASME B16.11, ASME B16.28, ASME B16.47, as well as industry standards MSS SP-44, MSS SP-75, MSS SP-95, and MSS SP-97.<\/p>\n<p>The standard allows for the application of supplementary requirements (such as S1), which are relevant when repair welding is required. In EV Group China documentation, dimensional characteristics are presented in both inch-pound and SI units. It is important to adhere to one of the selected measurement systems, as mixing them within the design of a single assembly is not permitted.<\/p>\n<h2>Manufacturing technologies<\/h2>\n<h3>Metallurgical process<\/h3>\n<p>Modern methods are used for steel smelting: open-hearth, electric arc, or basic oxygen processes. An important condition is the use of fully killed steel. The choice of a specific grade of carbon, low-alloy, or alloy steel is made at the stage of coordinating the technical requirements with the customer. EV Group China guarantees the provision of a full report on the chemical composition of the heat, including the percentage content of all alloying additives.<\/p>\n<p>Materials are adapted for field welding with components corresponding to ASTM A53\/A53M, A106\/A106M, A381, as well as API and MSS SP-75 standards.<\/p>\n<h3>Production cycle and heat treatment<\/h3>\n<p>Workpieces (ingots, blooms, slabs, or billets) undergo forging or bending processes. Manufacturing flanges by direct machining from solid bar or plate without a forging stage is prohibited. All products undergo mandatory heat treatment, including normalizing, quenching, and subsequent tempering.
