EV Group China ensures the supply of rolled metal products that fully comply with these international quality standards.<\/p>\n<p>The use of alloy steels conforming to the specifications of relevant associations (AISE, SAE) is permitted, provided that the final physical and mechanical characteristics of the finished product meet all the criteria of this regulation.<\/p>\n<p>Depending on design loads, bars are classified by five minimum yield strengths: 280 MPa (Grade 40), 420 MPa (Grade 60), 520 MPa (Grade 75), 550 MPa (Grade 80), and 690 MPa (Grade 100).<\/p>\n<p><em>Note 1:<\/em> Grade 100 [690] reinforcement was introduced into the standard in 2015. Engineers should note that the ratio of tensile strength to yield strength for this grade is 1.15, which reduces the ductility margin at failure compared to traditional grades (1.31\u20131.5). When designing critical beam and slab structures, it is recommended to verify the feasibility of using this grade of reinforcement according to local ACI 318 standards.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note 2:<\/em> The use of bar size No. 20 [64] requires additional approval from regulatory authorities, as standard design methodologies do not always cover the specifics of using reinforcement of this diameter.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note 3:<\/em> When performing welding work, strict adherence to the AWS D1.4\/D1.4M regulation is required. The material does not contain special alloying additives to improve weldability, therefore the choice of filler materials and thermal regimes (preheating, interpass temperature) must be selected based on the chemical composition of the specific batch.<\/p>\n<p>EV Group China draws attention to the fact that values in SI units and inch-pound units are independent standards.
