Scope of the Standard<\/h2>\n<p>This technical regulation establishes the requirements for carbon structural steel of ordinary quality. The document covers steel classification, dimensional parameters, shapes, limit deviations, weight characteristics, test methods, quality control protocols, as well as labeling and packaging requirements for delivery.<\/p>\n<p>This standard applies to hot-rolled sheet metal, steel strips, section steel, and bar steel. Metal products manufactured according to these norms are intended for welded metal structures and bolted connections. The chemical composition requirements regulated by this standard are mandatory for steel ingots, continuous casting billets, and semi-finished products supplied by EV Group China.<\/p>\n<h2>2. Classification and Nomenclature<\/h2>\n<h3>3.1 Digital Marking<\/h3>\n<p>The steel grade name is formed according to a hierarchical principle: yield strength letter index, yield strength value (MPa), quality category, and deoxidation method. Example: Q235-A-F.<\/p>\n<h3>3.2 Designations<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Q<\/strong> \u2014 yield strength index; <strong>A, B, C, D<\/strong> \u2014 quality categories; <strong>F<\/strong> \u2014 rimming steel; <strong>Z<\/strong> \u2014 killed steel; <strong>TZ<\/strong> \u2014 special killed steel. In the digital code, the indices &#8220;z&#8221; and &#8220;TZ&#8221; are omitted.<\/p>\n<h2>4.
