The document is crucial for engineering design and quality control in the metallurgical industry, ensuring the standardization of geometric parameters of products.<\/p>\n<p>The standard applies to forgings made of carbon and alloy steel grades, the mass of which does not exceed 250 kg, and the maximum overall dimension is limited to 2500 mm. For products exceeding these parameters, EV Group China recommends agreeing on tolerances at the order specification stage.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that this standard is not applicable to forgings obtained by pressing (regulated by the EN 10243-1 standard). For forgings of forging class F, accuracy parameters are for reference only. EV Group China ensures the production of forgings in strict accordance with the requirements of EN 10243-2, using standard industrial equipment and advanced metalworking methods based on the R20 series of numbers (according to ISO 3).<\/p>\n<h3>Application features and tolerances<\/h3>\n<p>For complex design solutions or when using steel grades with specific forging characteristics, extended tolerances beyond the standard values may be applied. In such cases, EV Group China specialists conduct additional technical expertise.<\/p>\n<p>The EN 10243-2 standard does not cover special tolerances for steels of a category higher than grade E.
