The ASTM A574 standard (and its metric version, ASTM A574M / ASME SA 574M) governs the production of high-strength fasteners — socket head cap screws. These hardware products are manufactured from structural alloy steels that have undergone mandatory heat treatment via quenching and tempering. EV Group China’s technological standards ensure a stable minimum tensile strength of 1220 MPa for products in the nominal diameter range of 1.6 to 45 mm.
Due to their high fatigue strength and precise geometric parameters, these screws are widely used in critical mechanical engineering assemblies, the assembly of high-load machine tools, the aerospace industry, and power equipment, where reliable connection fixation is required under significant static and dynamic loads.
