EV Group China ensures compliance with mass and dimensional tolerances according to Annex A1 of the standard for all deliveries marked with an “M” index. In calculations, mass remains the priority parameter in the SI system.

The technical documentation also contains reference data:

  • Annex A2 — Table of Dimensions for Structural Shapes;
  • Annex X1 — Guidelines for Ordering and Usage of Coiled Products;
  • Annex X2 — Variability of Tensile Properties;
  • Annex X3 — Guidelines for Weldability of Metals;
  • Annex X4 — Tolerances and Cold Bending Radii for Plates.

Expert Notes and Compliance

The standard is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee A01. For supplies meeting ASME requirements (boilers and pressure vessels), specification SA-6 / SA-6M must be used. In case of conflicting requirements, the specific product specification takes priority. Values are rounded according to Practice E 29. EV Group China supplies products in the imperial system unless the “M” designation for the SI system is specified in the order.
