Technical features and purpose of the material according to ASTM A739 standard

This specification defines the requirements for the production and supply of hot-wrought ferritic alloy steel bars. This metal product from EV Group China is intended for the manufacturing of critical components and parts operated under conditions of high temperature and excess pressure. The material possesses high processability and is optimized for use in industrial fusion welding processes.

EV Group China’s production program includes the following steel grades:

  • Grade B11: 1.25% chromium, 0.55% molybdenum content.
  • Grade B22: 2.25% chromium, 1.00% molybdenum content.

Technical specifications are provided in accordance with the requirements of the ASTM A739 standard. Values in the inch-pound system are the standard, while metric equivalents in parentheses are provided for informational purposes only.
