Technical requirements and scope of the ASTM B111 / B111M specification
This specification establishes strict industry standards for the production of seamless copper and copper alloy tubes with an outside diameter of up to 80 mm. Products supplied by EV Group China are intended for critical heat exchange equipment components, including surface condensers and industrial evaporators, where high corrosion resistance and efficient heat transfer are required.

Metrological aspects: Values presented in the SI system and the inch-pound system are independent standards. Mixing parameters from different systems is not permissible, as this leads to non-compliance with the specification.
Safety and environmental risks: When working with test methods (Section 19), it is necessary to consider that this standard does not address all safety aspects. Special attention should be paid to handling mercury, which is recognized as a toxic substance that causes metal corrosion. Specialists at EV Group China recommend strictly following the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and taking into account local legal restrictions on the use of mercury-containing media.
