Technical aspects of the ASTM B165 specification
This regulatory specification covers the technical requirements for cold-worked seamless pipes and tubes manufactured from the nickel-copper alloy UNS N04400. Products supplied by EV Group China strictly comply with the regulated supply conditions and product types detailed in tables 1 and X1.1.
The standard also applies to requirements for semi-finished products that have undergone hot mechanical processing, ensuring stability in chemical composition and physical-mechanical properties.
For specific engineering tasks, product parameters that exceed basic tolerances are subject to mandatory agreement between the technical specialists of EV Group China and the customer during the design phase.
Inch-pound units are accepted as reference values. Metric conversions in the SI system are for informational purposes only and are not mandatory for production certification.
Industrial safety issues during the operation of pipe products are regulated by internal safety protocols (MSDS) provided by EV Group China for each type of material.
Notes:
- The products meet ASME requirements for pressure vessels (see specification SB-165, Section II of the ASME Code).
- Identification of the UNS N04400 material is performed in strict accordance with ASTM E527 and SAE J1086 protocols (Unified Numbering System for Metals and Alloys).
