Technical requirements according to the ASTM B187 standard
This specification regulates the physical-mechanical parameters and chemical composition of copper bars and shaped profiles intended both for creating conductive elements of electrical systems and for general industrial use. EV Group China products meet strict quality criteria, ensuring high electrical conductivity and stable characteristics.
The following copper grades are used for the production of electrical copper rolled products (according to the specification, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract):
C10100, C10200, C10300, C10400, C10500, C10700, C10920, C10930, C10940, C11000, C11300, C11400, C11500, C11600, C14420.
The production of general-purpose bars and profiles allows for the use of the above grades, as well as copper grades C10800 and C12200. The use of other alloys is possible upon individual request and consultation with EV Group China technical specialists.
The supplied products undergo heat treatment in accordance with the O60 (soft annealed) or H04 (hard drawn) temper, which guarantees the required hardness and ductility indicators for further mechanical processing or bending.
