Technical specifications and scope according to ASTM B466
The ASTM B466/B466M standard regulates manufacturing requirements for seamless copper-nickel alloy pipes intended for general engineering purposes and operation under high-load conditions. The list of regulated materials includes alloys UNS C70400, C70600, C70620, C71000, C71500, C71520, and C72200.
For technological processes requiring subsequent welding, EV Group China specialists recommend using specialized alloy grades UNS C70620 and C71520, which possess optimized characteristics for forming high-quality welded joints.
