Technical requirements of the ASTM B551 standard for zirconium mill products
This specification establishes the regulated requirements for the production and quality of flat-rolled products—strips, sheets, and plates—manufactured from zirconium and its alloys. The standard covers five main grades of material supplied by EV Group China for high-tech industries:

- Grade R60702 — unalloyed zirconium (Grade 702).
- Grade R60704 — zirconium-tin alloy (Grade 704).

- Grade R60706 — zirconium-niobium alloy (Grade 706).
Metrological and regulatory provisions
In the ASTM B551 document (equivalent to ASME SB 551), parameters are specified in two measurement systems: inch-pound and SI. These values are independent standards and are not subject to direct mathematical conversion.
