The DIN 137 standard has been officially withdrawn.
Technical regulations and scope of DIN 137
This standard specified the geometric parameters, tolerances, and technical operating conditions for spring washers: curved (Form A) and wave (Form B).
These products are used in threaded assemblies (bolts, studs, screws) to prevent the fastener from loosening due to vibration. The washer design provides compensation for axial clearance and uniform pressure distribution on the bearing surface, which is critical in mechanical engineering and steel construction.
EV Group China supplies fasteners manufactured from the following materials:
- Spring steels with high fatigue strength.
- Steels with a protective galvanized zinc coating for increased corrosion resistance.
- Austenitic stainless steels: AISI 304 (A2) grade and acid-resistant AISI 316 (A4) grade.
- Non-ferrous metal alloys, including bronze alloys for specialized environments.
Classification by design:
- Form A: Curved spring washer.
- Form B: Wave spring washer.
