Threaded flanges DIN 2569 (PN 100): technical description and analogues

Technical specifications and scope of application for DIN 2569 flanges

The DIN 2569 standard defines the regulatory parameters for threaded flanges with a hub, designed for operation in high-pressure pipeline systems (PN 100). This type of connecting element is intended for installation in pipelines with a nominal diameter from DN 6 to DN 150. The design ensures reliable tightness and resistance to peak loads in industrial environments.

The technical regulation of the document covers geometric dimensions, selection of steel grades, requirements for the surface finish of sealing faces, as well as calculated weight characteristics of the products. Production processes, acceptance protocols, and marking comply with the provisions of DIN 2519, and the selection of sealing elements must be carried out according to DIN 2526 specifications.

Steel grades used

  • Corrosion-resistant stainless steels for aggressive environments.
  • General-purpose carbon steels for standard operating conditions.
  • Alloy steels for operation at high temperatures and critical pressures.

Important note for engineers and procurement specialists: the DIN 2569 standard has been reclassified as archived. In modern design documentation and when ordering metal products from EV Group China, you should refer to the current EN 1092-1 standard (type 13B), which fully replaces the requirements of DIN 2569.
