Technical features and application of the DIN 2652 standard
The DIN 2652 standard regulates the design parameters of lap joint flanges used in conjunction with a weld-on collar in pipeline systems with a working pressure of 6 kgf/cm² (PN 6). This specification covers a range of nominal diameters from DN 10 to DN 500.
The technical documentation establishes geometric dimensions, material requirements, and calculated mass indicators for the products. Manufacturing processes, acceptance testing requirements, and marking methods are regulated by the DIN 2519 standard. The operational characteristics of the products are designed for service at pressures up to 0.6 MPa and temperatures up to 235 °C.
Industrial application
- Aviation industry;
- Aerospace sector;
- Heavy engineering and petrochemical complexes.
Material execution
- Corrosion-resistant stainless steels;
- Structural carbon steels;
- Alloyed heat-resistant steels.

Important note for engineering and technical personnel: The DIN 2652 standard has been archived. In modern design documentation and when selecting pipeline components, you should refer to the current standard DIN EN 1092-1 (types 02 and 32). EV Group China specialists are ready to advise you on replacing obsolete sizes with modern equivalents.
