Technical features and application of DIN 2673 flanges
The DIN 2673 standard sets the regulatory requirements for the design of loose flanges with a welding neck collar, rated for a nominal pressure of 10 kgf/cm² (PN 10). This fitting is intended for installation in pipeline systems with nominal diameters (DN) ranging from 10 to 1200 mm.
The technical documentation regulates geometric parameters, the selection of steel grades for manufacturing, and determines the calculated weight of the products. Production processes, acceptance regulations, quality control, and product labeling rules are carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the DIN 2519 standard.
Important note: The DIN 2673 standard is currently classified as archived. According to current design standards, all loose flanges corresponding to these sizes are manufactured in accordance with the modern DIN EN 1092-1 standard (types 04 and 34).
