Technical regulation and scope of DIN 4017
The international standard DIN 4017 defines key operational and geometric parameters for hexagon head bolts with full metric threads. This hardware is widely used in mechanical engineering, steel structure construction, and heavy industry. The production technology from EV Group China ensures compliance with precision standards:
- Accuracy class A: used for threaded connections in the range from M1.6 to M24 inclusive.
- Accuracy class B: regulated for products with a thread diameter over M24 or for nominal lengths exceeding 150 mm.
Structurally, DIN 4017 bolts are characterized by threading along the entire length of the stud, which distinguishes them from products according to ISO 4014 (where the thread is partial). EV Group China supplies bolts made of carbon, alloy, and stainless steels, as well as brass alloys. Available strength classes: 4.8, 5.8, 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9, which allows selecting fasteners for specific loads and corrosive environment conditions.
When selecting fasteners for critical assemblies, it is recommended to consider compliance with nominal lengths up to 200 mm. In cases where project documentation requires specific characteristics that go beyond this standard, EV Group China specialists are ready to select analogs from the current international regulatory framework.
