Attention: The DIN 610 standard has been officially withdrawn from active use.
Technical description and scope of application
The DIN 610 bolt is a high-precision fitted bolt with a hexagonal head, equipped with a short threaded shank. The product design features a metric thread with a standard pitch; however, EV Group China engineers can arrange for the manufacturing of fasteners with custom thread pitch parameters for specific equipment assemblies.
This type of bolt, in the diameter range from M8 to M36 and lengths from 25 to 200 mm, is widely used in precision mechanical engineering, heavy machine tool construction, and instrumentation. Its primary functional task is to ensure reliable coupling of structural elements when used in conjunction with appropriate nuts and washers that provide the necessary tightening torque.
Material specifications
To ensure the operational durability of the products, EV Group China specialists manufacture bolts according to the DIN 610 specification from the following materials:
- Carbon steels: strength classes 5.6 and 8.8, providing an optimal combination of ductility and load-bearing capacity.
- Austenitic stainless steels: grades A2 and A4 (AISI 304 / 316), recommended for operation in conditions of high humidity or aggressive chemical environments.
