EN 10107: Quality standards for anisotropic electrical steel from EV Group China

Technical regulation and scope of the EN 10107 standard

The European standard EN 10107:2014 is a key regulatory document defining the chemical composition and physical-technical parameters of grain-oriented electrical steels. Specialists at EV Group China use this standard to control the quality of rolled products intended for high-efficiency magnetic circuits.

The regulation covers anisotropic strips and sheets with nominal thicknesses of 0.23 mm, 0.27 mm, 0.30 mm, and 0.35 mm. The standard establishes mandatory requirements for magnetic characteristics, geometric tolerances, technological properties, and product verification methods.

Material classification according to EN 10107

In accordance with international protocols, the electrical steel supplied by EV Group China is divided into two main categories:

  • Grain-oriented electrical steel (conventional grades).
  • High magnetic permeability anisotropic electrical steel (Hi-B grades).

This product is supplied in a ready-to-use annealed state (in coils or sheets) and fully complies with the provisions of the international standard IEC 60404-1:2000, ensuring stable characteristics in the production of transformer equipment and electromagnetic systems.
