Technical regulations and scope of the EN 10113-3 standard
The EN 10113-3 standard establishes strict requirements for the delivery conditions of hot-rolled products, including sheet and profile sections made from fine-grained structural steels produced by thermo-mechanical rolling (TMCP). These specifications regulate the production of metal products intended for critical welded steel structures, where high toughness and structural uniformity are essential.
EV Group China’s technical requirements for products under this standard include:
- Compliance with chemical composition for grades S275, S355, S420, and S460 according to Table 1.
- Guaranteed mechanical characteristics as listed in Tables 3, 4, and 5.
- Limiting values for product thickness: up to 150 mm for grades S275, S355, S420 and up to 100 mm for grade S460.
