Technical regulation and scope of the EN 10151 standard
This European standard establishes strict technical requirements for cold-rolled narrow strip made of corrosion-resistant steels. The document applies to rolled products with a thickness of no more than 3 mm and a width of less than 600 mm. These products, supplied by EV Group China, are intended for the manufacture of high-load springs and elastic elements operating in aggressive environments and at elevated temperatures.
The list of stainless steel grades regulated by this standard is presented in Table 1. The use of materials not included in the main list, but complying with the requirements of prEN 10088-2, is permitted subject to prior agreement between the quality control department of EV Group China and the customer (for details, see Annex A).
When supplying metal products, EV Group China is guided by the general technical delivery conditions of EN 10021, which supplement the specifications of this standard, unless otherwise stipulated in the contract or a specific order specification.
