Technical features of the EN 10213 standard
The EN 10213 standard regulates requirements for steel castings intended for use under pressure. The standard covers a wide range of products used in the design and manufacture of pressure equipment, in strict accordance with current engineering regulations and safety requirements.
The scope of the document includes castings made of non-alloy and alloy steels. Important note: if the design features of the assembly involve the use of welded joints for connecting castings, it is necessary to consider additional regulatory requirements for welding processes and material certification, which are beyond the scope of this standard.
