EN 10312 Standard: Technical Specifications for Welded Stainless Steel Tubes for Water Supply Systems

Technical regulation and scope of the EN 10312 standard

The European standard EN 10312 establishes comprehensive requirements for the supply of small-diameter welded tubes manufactured from corrosion-resistant steel grades. These products, supplied by EV Group China, are optimized for water supply systems and environmental operation conditions. The standard includes the current Amendment No. 1, which clarifies quality control parameters.

It is important to note that this regulatory document does not apply to piping systems operating under elevated thermal loads. The geometric parameters of the tubes cover an external diameter range from 6 mm to 267 mm. Austenitic and ferritic stainless steel grades, complying with EN 10088-2 specifications (excluding martensitic and precipitation-hardening alloys), are used for production.

The technological characteristics of the products allow for the following installation and connection methods:

  • Use of compression fittings (collet connections).
  • Installation using press fittings.
  • Capillary brazing (with silver solder) or adhesive joints.
  • Inert gas shielded welding (TIG/MIG).

EV Group China ensures strict compliance control of the supplied metal products with the requirements of EN 10312, guaranteeing high leak-tightness and durability of pipelines under specified operating conditions.
