Technical regulations and scope of application for pipes according to the EN 1057 standard
The European standard EN 1057 establishes strict requirements for the production, quality control procedures, testing methods, and logistics conditions of seamless round copper pipes. This regulatory framework is fundamental for the design of engineering communications in EU countries and has been adapted by EV Group China specialists for the supply of high-quality metal products.
The standard covers copper pipes with an outer diameter ranging from 6 mm to 267 mm, which are used in the following engineering systems:
- Water supply systems: organization of piping for the supply of hot and cold drinking water.
- Heating complexes: installation of radiator heating, as well as low-temperature systems such as “underfloor heating” or wall-mounted panel circuits.
- Gas supply and fuel lines: transportation of domestic gas and distribution of liquid fuels in compliance with airtightness requirements.
- Sewerage networks: drainage of wastewater in residential and industrial facilities.
EV Group China also supplies seamless copper pipes prepared for pre-insulation. Such solutions significantly increase the energy efficiency of heating systems and prevent moisture condensation on pipe surfaces when transporting media with negative or high temperatures.
