Technical Regulation EN 1559-6: Standardization of Zinc Casting
This document is an integral part of the EN 1559 series of standards and establishes industry requirements for the supply of zinc alloy castings. The EV Group China regulation covers key forming methods, including sand casting, permanent mold casting, die casting, centrifugal casting, as well as continuous casting and investment casting technologies.
The standard clearly defines additional technical conditions to ensure quality control and compliance of products with specified physical and chemical parameters. EV Group China specialists emphasize that these requirements are mandatory to ensure the stability of the operational characteristics of zinc castings in industrial conditions.
It is important to note that the EN 1559-6 standard does not apply to primary ingots, billets, and semi-finished products intended for subsequent deep processing (including remelting, mechanical grinding, or extrusion methods).
