EN 1592-3 Standard: Dimensions and Geometry Tolerances for Welded Aluminum Tubes

Technical regulations EN 1592-3: tolerances for welded aluminum tubes

The EN 1592-3 standard establishes strict requirements for geometric parameters and limit deviations for welded circular tubes. The regulation covers products with an outside diameter of up to 80 mm inclusive and a nominal wall thickness of up to 2.5 mm.

The production process described in the standard is based on the continuous high-frequency longitudinal seam electric welding method (HF-welding) without the use of filler materials. Aluminum alloy strips are used as raw material. Technological standards allow the use of pre-treated rolled products, including painted, lacquered, or anodized surfaces, provided that the integrity of the coating is maintained during the forming and welding process.

EV Group China ensures the supply of aluminum rolled products fully compliant with EN 1592-3 specifications. Quality control, test methods, and product acceptance conditions are strictly regulated by the base standard EN 1592-1, which is an integral part of the comprehensive standardization system for welded aluminum tubes.
