Mechanical characteristics of fin stock: EN 683-2
Mechanical properties specification
The EN 683-2 standard defines the mechanical property standards for thin fin strips made of wrought aluminium intended for use in heat exchange equipment. These requirements are also mandatory for flat-rolled products of the specified grades.
The chemical composition of the materials must comply with the current edition of EN 573-3. The systematization of designations, composition marking, and classification of material tempers are carried out according to EN 573-1, EN 573-2, and EN 515, respectively.
Tolerances on dimensions and form: EN 683-3
Dimensional accuracy requirements
The third part of the EN 683 standard sets out the maximum permissible deviations for dimensions and geometric shape for aluminium alloys supplied in accordance with the requirements of EN 683-1. EV Group China ensures the supply of products that fully comply with these industrial standards.
