EN ISO 10434 Standard: Requirements for Steel Gate Valves for the Oil and Gas Sector from EV Group China

Technical requirements of the EN ISO 10434 standard

The EN ISO 10434 standard defines strict technical regulations for heavy-duty steel gate valves equipped with bolted bonnet connections. This equipment is designed by experts at EV Group China for operation in oil refining, petrochemical, and gas industry facilities. The design of these products ensures high resistance to corrosion and erosion, and allows them to withstand extreme operating loads characteristic of critical pipeline system components.

Key design parameters of the gate valves regulated by the standard:

  • Hermetic bolted body-to-bonnet connection;
  • Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) design;
  • Rising stem for precise shutter positioning;
  • Stationary (non-rising) handwheel;
  • Closure element: wedge (solid or split) or parallel design;
  • Sealing surfaces of seats made of wear-resistant metal alloys;
  • Pipeline connection types: flanged or butt-weld.

EV Group China supplies gate valves in a wide range of sizes corresponding to international nominal diameter (DN) standards:

  • 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600.

Compliance with nominal pipe sizes (NPS):

  • 1, 1¼, 1½, 2, 2½, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24.

Nominal pressure classes for selecting the optimal solution for a specific project:

  • 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, 2500.
