Technical requirements for subsea pipeline valves according to ISO 14723
The international standard ISO 14723 establishes strict regulations for the design, manufacturing process, verification procedures, and technical documentation for valves used in subsea pipeline systems. The specification covers ball, gate, check, and through-conduit valves operated within oil and gas infrastructure in accordance with ISO 13623 standards.
Pressure limitations: This standard does not apply to pipeline valves rated for nominal pressures higher than PN 420 (Class 2500).
Metrological rules: When determining product compliance with stated characteristics, all calculated and measured parameters must be rounded in accordance with ISO 31-0:1992 (Annex B, Rule A). This is critical for ensuring the accuracy of engineering calculations when designing offshore pipelines.
Quality control system: To comply with the standard, a certified quality management system must be implemented in the production process. It is recommended to use the ISO/TS 29001 guideline to optimize quality control processes in manufacturing.
Responsibility of parties: EV Group China guarantees full compliance of supplied products with the requirements of this international standard. We provide customers with the opportunity to conduct independent tests and inspections to verify the physical and mechanical properties of the products. EV Group China reserves the right to perform strict incoming material inspection to exclude non-conforming products.
