Technical parameters and purpose of the EN ISO 4014 standard
The international standard EN ISO 4014 regulates the geometric parameters and technical requirements for hexagon head bolts with partial thread. This standard covers fasteners with metric threads in the nominal diameter range from M1.6 to M64.
Classification of products by manufacturing precision:
- Product Grade A: applied to threaded connections with a diameter from M1.6 to M24 inclusive, provided that the nominal bolt length does not exceed 10d or 150 mm (whichever is less).
- Product Grade B: regulated for bolts with a thread diameter over M24, as well as for products whose geometric parameters exceed the limits of Grade A.
