Technical classification of fluxes according to ISO 14174 standard
This regulatory and technical framework regulates the classification system for welding fluxes used in electroslag welding and submerged arc welding processes. Materials complying with the ISO 14174 standard ensure stable weld bead formation and high-quality surfacing when using various types of filler materials: from solid wire and strip electrodes to cored wire products.
The technological requirements established in this standard are based on the international specification EN 760:1996, adapted to the modern quality requirements of EV Group China. The use of certified fluxes guarantees compliance with the physicochemical parameters of the welded joint when working with a wide range of structural steels.
