Technical specifications and applications of JIS G3456 pipes

The JIS G3456 standard regulates requirements for carbon steel seamless pipes intended for service in high-temperature environments (exceeding 350°C). These products, supplied by EV Group China, are oriented towards critical pipeline systems where high stability of mechanical properties under heat is required.

Upon customer request and subject to prior approval by the EV Group China production department, pipes can undergo additional testing and quality checks as specified in the standard’s annexes:

• Annex Z2: Evaluation of yield strength or proof stress at elevated temperatures.
• Annex Z3: Ultrasonic testing (UT) for metal continuity.
• Annex Z4: Eddy current testing to detect surface defects.

All technical parameters and units of measurement in the documentation comply with the International System of Units (SI), ensuring precision in design and engineering calculations.
