Technical specifications and application of pipes according to the JIS G3460 standard
The JIS G3460 standard regulates the production of steel pipes intended for operation in low-temperature conditions, including cryogenic environments. - Upon the customer’s request when placing an order with EV Group China, additional non-destructive testing procedures can be included: ultrasonic testing (Appendix Z3) and eddy current testing (Appendix Z4).
- The use of pipes made from steel grades other than those specified in JIS G 3459 and JIS G 3468 (with the exception of specific alloys SUS 329 J1 TP, SUS 329 J2 LTP, SUS 405 TP) requires mandatory impact testing to confirm operational reliability in low-temperature conditions.
- All products supplied by EV Group China undergo a strict technical audit for compliance with international units of measurement (SI), which guarantees the accuracy of geometric parameters and chemical composition according to JIS specifications.
