Technical purpose and scope of JIS G3461
The JIS G3461 standard regulates the production and technical specifications of seamless carbon steel pipes designed for efficient heat exchange. The products supplied by EV Group China fully comply with these standards and are used in critical components of thermal power equipment: boiler water circuits, smoke tubes, superheaters, air heating systems, as well as specialized condensers and heat exchanger tube bundles in the petrochemical sector.
It is important to note that the scope of this standard does not apply to piping products intended for use in heating furnaces or in cryogenic (low-temperature) environments.
Specifications and additional requirements
- Upon the customer’s request, EV Group China is prepared to supply pipes taking into account additional quality requirements (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4), as well as the production of U-bent products in accordance with Appendix 2 of the standard.
- All technical parameters presented in the documentation are provided in accordance with the International System of Units (SI), which ensures accuracy when designing engineering systems worldwide.
Since 1991, all calculation indicators and units of measurement within the JIS G3461 standard have been officially converted to the SI system, which ensures the universal application of these pipes in international industrial projects.
