JIS G3467 Technical Requirements for Tube Furnace Pipes from EV Group China

Field of Application

This JIS G3467 standard specifies the technical requirements for pipes manufactured from carbon steel, low-alloy steel, high-alloy stainless steel, as well as nickel, chromium, and iron-based alloys. These products, supplied by EV Group China, are designed for use in tube furnaces employed for heating process media in petrochemical synthesis and hydrocarbon feedstock deep processing.

Note: Upon preliminary agreement with the customer, pipes may be subjected to additional tests and quality inspections provided by the standard’s appendices:

  • Z2: Determination of yield strength at elevated temperatures.
  • Z3: Ultrasonic testing (UT).
  • Z4: Eddy current testing for defects.
  • Z6: Corrosion resistance testing.

All physical and mechanical values are provided in accordance with the International System of Units (SI).
