Technical requirements for heat-resistant steel sheets according to JIS G4312
This regulatory document establishes a comprehensive set of technical requirements for the production, classification, and quality characteristics of heat-resistant steel plates, sheet material, and steel strips supplied by EV Group China. The standard defines the physical and chemical parameters of products operated under high-temperature loads.
Reference information:
This standard is based on the provisions of the international standard ISO 4955:2005 (with modifications). The degree of compliance with ISO standards is classified according to the ISO/IEC Guide 21-1 (IDT — identical, MOD — modified, NEQ — non-equivalent).
In accordance with the requirements of JIS G4312, the entire range of heat-resistant rolled products, including sheet material and strips, is divided into 28 categories. A detailed classification of steel grades is presented in the table below.
| Steel Grade a)b) | Classification | Steel Grade a)b) | Classification |

Expert note: The status of grades SUH330, SUH660, and SUH446 is subject to revision as part of the standard update process.
a) To identify sheet products, suffixes are added to the steel grade designation: “-HP” for hot-rolled sheets and plates, “-CP” for cold-rolled products. Marking example: SUH309-HP.
b) For steel strips, the following suffixes are used: “-HS” (hot-rolled) and “-CS” (cold-rolled). Marking example: SUH409-CS.
